Process 5

Clearing the combat zone

Specialists of the ATOM Charitable Foundation have defined a special structural approach to the clearance of areas contaminated with explosive hazards as a result of hostilities.

The main objective of the process of clearing the area of hostilities (EOD) is to detect ERW through visual inspection of the territory or using specialized search equipment.

BACC is conducted after the passage of vehicles. EORE processes can be either fully manual or partially machine-assisted, which significantly speeds up and reduces the cost of clearance.

Groups of specialists from the ATOM Charitable Foundation can carry out the EPR process.

The main components of the EPR process include:
● Keeping our personnel and equipment ready to conduct demining operations;
● Searching for and identifying unexploded ordnance;
● Ensuring the transfer of explosive remnants of war to authorized bodies for further destruction;
● Conducting internal quality control of the performed EORE works;
● Implementation of measures on labor protection and medical support;
● Accounting and reporting on the results of EORE activities;
● External quality control by authorized bodies;
● Transfer of land to final beneficiaries.

We take all necessary measures to ensure maximum safety of employees and local population during the implementation of the ERM activities, adhering to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, including international ones.
