Manual demining
The ATOM Charitable Foundation has established clear procedures for the manual demining of areas where anti-personnel mines, anti-tank mines, improvised explosive devices and tripwire ammunition may have been used.
Manual demining is authorized by demining teams equipped with mine detectors, individual sapper kits and other necessary equipment.
The main components of manual demining include
● maintaining the constant readiness of our employees and equipment for demining operations;
● searching, detecting and neutralizing mines, tripwires and other explosive remnants of war using metal detectors and special equipment and transferring them to the authorized bodies for further destruction
conducting internal quality control of manual demining operations;
● creating safe conditions for the use of the territory after its clearance;
● Implementation of occupational safety and health measures;
● accounting and reporting on the results of manual demining operations;
● external quality control by authorized bodies;
● transfer of land to the final beneficiaries;
manual demining can be carried out separately or in combination with other demining methods.
We develop detailed plans and strategies for each demining project, thus ensuring the highest level of safety and efficiency.
The sappers of the ATOM Charitable Foundation have high-quality equipment and appropriate skills for manual demining.
