Specialists of the «ATOM» Charitable Foundation have defined a special structural approach for the clearance of areas contaminated with explosive ordnance (EO) as a result of military actions.

The main purpose of the Battle Area Clearance (BAC) process is to detect EO through visual survey of areas or using specialized search means.

BAC is conducted after machines have passed. BAC processes can be either entirely manual or with partial use of machines, which significantly speeds up and reduces the cost of the clearance process.

Groups of specialists from the «ATOM» Charitable Foundation can carry out the BAC process.

The main components of the BAC process include:

  • Maintaining the constant readiness of our personnel and equipment for demining operations;
  • Searching for and detecting ammunition;
  • Ensuring the handover of explosive remnants of war to authorized bodies for further destruction;
  • Conducting internal quality control of the BAC work performed;
  • Implementing occupational health and safety measures and medical support;
  • Recording and reporting on the results of BAC work;
  • Conducting external quality control by authorized bodies;
  • Transferring land to end beneficiaries.

We take all necessary measures to ensure maximum safety of personnel and the local population during BAC operations, adhering to the highest quality and efficiency standards, including international ones.

We have obtained certification that entitles us to conduct humanitarian demining on the territory of Ukraine.
