The event was organized by the Ukrainian National Association for Humanitarian Demining (UNAHD) and was dedicated to the development of the humanitarian demining system in Ukraine.
Participants discussed key industry issues: improving the methodology for determining the cost of work, updating qualification criteria for procurement participants, regulating subcontracting in state programs, and harmonizing standards (DSTU series 8820).
Special attention was paid to the draft Code of Ethical Conduct for market participants, which should become the basis for forming common ethical principles, trust, and partnership among operators.
The «Atom» Foundation supports the development of professional communication in the sector and initiatives that contribute to increasing transparency, openness, and effectiveness of mine action.
We express our gratitude to the Ukrainian Demining Services (UDS) for providing a platform for discussion and facilitating meaningful dialogue among participants.
Such meetings unite the professional community around a common goal — to bring safety back to Ukrainian land.
