During the period from January 27 to 30, 2025, the «ATOM» Charitable Foundation underwent certification for compliance with the criteria of DSTU 8820:2023, covering six areas of humanitarian demining activities as a mine action operator, under the supervision of the certification body of the Mine Action Center, for the following mine action activities:
– Non-Technical Survey (NTS).
– Technical Survey (TS).
– Battle Area Clearance (BAC).
– Manual Demining.
– Mechanical Demining (using machines and mechanisms).
– Neutralization (destruction) of mines/explosive remnants of war.
Auditors from the Certification and Quality Assurance Department assessed the humanitarian demining groups of the «ATOM» Charitable Foundation based on situational modeling.
The specialists of the «ATOM» Charitable Foundation demonstrated an excellent level of training for mine action operators in the above-mentioned areas.
There is still a lot of work ahead.
