Specialists of the «Atom» Charitable Foundation successfully completed the non-technical survey of agricultural lands of the private enterprise «Khliborob Agro», located in the Voznesensk district, Yelanets territorial community, within the village of Malodvoryanka in the Mykolaiv region.

The total area of the surveyed plot was 1407 hectares.

During the survey, our specialists recorded the exact locations of impacts, numerous remnants and fragments of rockets, UAVs, and Shahed drones. Such damage complicated agricultural work and made the territory potentially dangerous for the enterprise’s employees and village residents.

“The survey of this large area allowed us to identify potentially dangerous areas and prepare the territory for further stages of humanitarian demining. For the private enterprise «Khliborob Agro», which operates in the field of agricultural production, this work was of key importance. Already now, on those areas that were recognized as safe as a result of the non-technical survey, the owners can plan sowing campaigns and restore the full use of arable land without risking the lives of workers and equipment,” said the director of the foundation, Ihor Franchuk.

We remind you that the non-technical survey (NTS) is the first and mandatory stage in the humanitarian demining process. It allows determining the presence of potential threats of territory contamination with explosive objects, the level of risk, and creating a map of areas that require further technical demining work or can be recognized as safe.

The «Atom» Charitable Foundation continues to provide free non-technical survey services in the regions affected by hostilities and to conduct mine risk education for the population.
